The most widespread assumption about what makes us most happy is that it is love or money. Unsurprisingly, these are not really the most important factors. It is increasingly recognized that the most attractive people are those who are happy with themselves and whose source of happiness is of a deeper nature.
There is a branch of psychology involved in examining happiness. Scientists have established the following:
1. Filled with social life, friendships and common activities
Friendships have a very powerful effect on the psyche. We are social beings, we enjoy a change of affection and attention, and we love mutual trust. Friends are immensely important!
2. A job that pleases and fulfills us regardless of salary, the job that results from self-actualization
3. Health - Regular exercise / sport and healthy eating
Especially for us women, sports are often "pressure" and it is hard to imagine that they are actually such a source of happiness. However, regular exercise significantly affects your comfortable feeling and confidence.
4. Focusing on the present - living in the present and not bother with the future
Most people deny themselves the possibility of a happy life by overly worrying and thinking about what was or could be.
5. Real expectations of yourself
Perfectionism is the greatest enemy of happiness. You should know and act on your options and boundaries. It is by no means good to constantly compare yourself with other people. Be honest and fair with yourself.
6. Positive Thoughts - Gratitude for people, things and little things that enrich life
Being grateful makes you the most happy! We have a roof over our heads, we are not hungry, we have the Internet, etc. We should occasionally remember the fact that 80% of the world's population does not enjoy such luxury. We should learn to deal with an accident with less resentment and try to recognize the benefits of a fresh start. New beginnings have one big advantage - they make us want to change in a positive way!
Friends and maintaining friendships are by far the most satisfying. It is this fact that is important because in entering into a new love affair, relationships with friends suffer. Suddenly we ignore them and no longer socialize with them. It is important to have nice and frequent meetings with friends at the very beginning of falling in love. Already in a rush of hormonal euphoria, we should warn ourselves that it is friends who are the greatest source of happiness, not a partner, as we often assume. Be kind to yourself and do things that make you happy. This will automatically infect your partner with satisfaction and will want to be with you as much as possible. There is nothing more attractive to a man than a woman who is happy and positive!
